A 100 W 12 V polycrystalline solar panel, for street lighting and off-grid systems.
What it suits
Sized for LED loads of roughly 30 to 50 W. This is the panel that pairs with a main-road street light, or charges a battery bank serving several smaller fixtures.
Using it
An MPPT charge controller is recommended. Face south, tilt roughly to your latitude, and keep the cable run from panel to controller short — voltage drop over a long thin cable costs charging current, and it is a common and avoidable loss on pole installations.
