The TTSGLW5W is the highest-output fixture in the gate and garden range, and the one to choose when an entrance needs to be genuinely lit rather than marked. It works equally as a gate pillar light or a garden area light.

Where it fits

Gate pillars, porches, driveway entrances and garden features. At 1,050 lumens it lights a doorway and the ground in front of it, which a 100 to 200 lumen decorative fixture cannot do. One either side of a gate covers a normal entrance.

What is inside

5 W LED producing 1,050 lumens, on a 20 Ah LiFePO4 battery charged by a 15 W panel. That specification is unusual at this size and it is what the price reflects: LiFePO4 gives a service life of 8 to 12 years, against two to three for the Ni-MH cells used in decorative garden packs, and a 20 Ah battery behind a 5 W load carries the fixture through consecutive overcast days rather than only the first.

Installation

Pillar, wall or post mounted with the panel positioned for clear midday sun. No wiring, no mains connection, automatic dusk-to-dawn operation.
