Solar Bat Street Light 40 Watt - TTBAT40W
SKU: TTBAT40W
The TTBAT40W is the Bat series fixture most often specified for residential streets, society internal roads and lanes — the point where a compound light stops being enough and a road fixture is needed. Integrated design with a separately mounted panel.
Coverage and sizing
Designed for a 5 m mounting height. Space poles at three to four times that — roughly 15 to 20 m pole to pole. Spacing much tighter than this buys fixtures you do not need; much wider leaves dark patches at the midpoint between poles.
What is inside
40 W LED producing 1,600 lumens from 100 Nichia chips, on a 12 Ah LiFePO4 battery charged by a 15 W panel. The controller is built into the head and regulates charging voltage without a separate enclosure. LiFePO4 gives a service life of 8 to 12 years — the component that decides total cost of ownership, since panels last 25 years and LED chips over 50,000 hours.
Autonomy and monsoon
The 12 Ah battery is sized to carry the fixture through consecutive overcast days. Under heavy cloud a panel still delivers roughly 20 to 40 per cent of its rated output, so a correctly sized battery keeps the road lit through a monsoon week. When comparing suppliers, compare Ah before wattage: it is the expensive component and the first one cut.
Installation and warranty
Mounts on a 2 inch GI pole or a wall, with one bracket and no cabling to the grid. Automatic dusk-to-dawn switching, working range −20 to 60 °C. IP65 housing. Two year warranty.
