Solar Motion Wall Rotatable Light - TTSMWR5W
DiscontinuedSKU: TTSMWR5W
This model is no longer manufactured.
The specifications below are kept for owners of existing installations.
The TTSMWR5W is a solar wall light with a PIR motion sensor and a rotatable head, so the light can be aimed independently of the wall it is fixed to. That matters at corners, on stairwells and above doorways set back from the mounting face.
Mounting and sensor coverage
Mount at 2 to 2.5 m. Aim the head at what you want lit — the doorway, the step, the gate latch — while leaving the sensor covering the approach. On a fixed-head fixture those two directions have to be the same, which is the compromise this model removes.
What is inside
500 lumens at 6000K, on a lithium-ion battery charged by a 5 W integrated panel. 6000K is a cool white that reads brighter than a warm source at the same lumen figure, which suits security and utility positions rather than a doorway you sit beside.
How the sensor changes the runtime
Dim or off until movement is detected, then full output for a hold period. That is what lets a compact battery cover a full night, and it is why a motion sensor fixture is not directly comparable with a dusk-to-dawn one on battery size alone.
Installation
Two fixings, no wiring or earthing. Confirm the wall face gets direct sun through the middle of the day before fixing — with a 5 W panel there is no margin for a shaded position.
