Solar Flood Light 20 Watt - TTSFL20W
DiscontinuedSKU: TTSFL20W
This model is no longer manufactured.
The specifications below are kept for owners of existing installations.
The TTSFL20W is a project-grade solar flood light: a 50 Ah LiFePO4 battery and a separate 20 W panel, specified where an area has to be lit every night regardless of weather. Signage, facades, yards and perimeter positions.
Where it fits
Mount at 3.5 to 5 m and angle downward. At 3,200 lumens it covers a courtyard, a signage face or a section of perimeter. Because the panel is separate, it can be placed in open sun even where the light itself has to sit against a shaded wall — the main practical advantage over a compact fixture.
What is inside
20 W LED producing 3,200 lumens at cool white, on a 50 Ah LiFePO4 battery charged by a separate 20 W panel. Two year warranty. LiFePO4 service life is 8 to 12 years.
Why it costs more than a brighter compact fixture
The 40 W compact fixture in this range produces 4,800 lumens and costs about a quarter as much. That is not a pricing error. This fixture carries a 50 Ah battery against that fixture's 18 Ah, on a chemistry that lasts two to three times longer, with a separate panel that can be aimed. You are buying nights of autonomy, not lumens. For a site where a dark night is a security incident rather than an inconvenience, that is the specification that matters.
Installation
Fixture on a wall or bracket, panel on its own mount facing south at roughly your latitude, keeping the cable run short. No mains connection.
